In the courtyard, plot or wherever you want – Ábaton rethinks the mobile home.

The Madrid-based studio Ábaton has just launched ÁPH80, a mobile home that can be moved around in a standard-sized truck, It is easy to erect and can be installed in all sites. It consists of three different ambiances: a lounge area with kitchen (complete with vitroceramic or gas hob, sink and extraction fan), a bathroom and bedroom. The interior measures 27 m2 (9 by 3) and, thanks to its layout, appears much larger than it actually is.
In total, ÁPH80 measures 80 m3. Its pointed roof reaches a height of 3.5 metres, further increasing the structure’s sense of space.

Wood has been used throughout, affording a sense of cozyness as well as providing a hypoallergenic living environment. Besides, It comes from responsible management certified forests. The structure itself has been built with solid wood whilst the interior has been clad in panels of Spanish Fir tinted in white. It has been furnished by Madrid-based shop Batavia.

The exterior is made of an agglomeration of wood-chip and cement in a grey tone. The facade features a 10 cm layer of insulation.

Being completely conceived in modules, further units can be added at any time according to need. The home is made in entirely in Spain with a period of 4-6 weeks and it only takes a day to erect. Prices start at 32,000 euros.
