Wallpaper magazine presented in London La Nueva Ola: a selection of young Spanish design.
On 8th December, London's William Road Gallery, by architects John McAslan + Partners exhibited Wallpaper's selection on "Spanish next generation talents", teaming up with ICEX. Although it was only a one-day event, the magazine published an splendid article on our team of designers. Read it online.
Seven studios were selected by renown Wallpaper magazine to represent young Spanish design: Nadadora, Andreu Carulla, Gaspar González, Xavier Mañosa, GR Industrial, Yonoh and MUT Design. All of them provided their most emblematic pieces that were exhibited before 150 selected guests while enjoying chef José Pizarro‘s tapas, wine and beer, all Spanish style.
This exhibition aims to prove that there is life -Spanish life- after the very well-known Jaime Hayón and Patricia Urquiola. Barcelona -continuing the 1992 Olympic Games legacy- and Valencia -mostly thanks to Valencia Disseny Week and Feria Hábitat-, are the new epicenters for new talents defending their own identity and quality.
