Pay a virtual visit to the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel designed by Jean Nouvel.

This natural oasis is inside the latest skyscraper to grace Barcelona’s skyline: the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel designed by Jean Nouvel and Ribas & Ribas. We have already covered the project in diarioDESIGN but here is now a video that lets you view the hotel like you were actually there.

For those who cannot have the chance to see this 27-storey high building and its 300 palm trees -the real stars-, here it goes the next video:

The El Cel terrace affords panoramic vistas of Barcelona, from Tibidabo to the Sea.

The rooms are divided up between a decor of black and white, a colour feature that also extends to the exterior. This monochrome treatment creates a calming, functional atmosphere where light and shadow play together.

As we have already mentioned, the vegetation is the building’s star attraction, also due to the spectacular vertical garden that features various species over three different scenarios.

Last but not least, the Restaurante Palme offers more panoramic views through a curtain of greenery.

The hotel Renaissance Barcelona Fira is part of the Hoteles Catalonia group and it’s also marketed through the US Marriott International chain.
